Greenfield projects are a priority form of investments made by non-member countries. As of mid-2024, the total value of such projects in the Eurasian region amounted to $57 bn.

The international Digital Almaty 2025 Forum hosted a panel session titled “Digitalization as a Success Factor in Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Agro-Industrial Sector of the EAEU.” The discussion was moderated by Dauren Rakhimzhanov, Managing Director of the Directorate of Digital Initiatives at the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).

Tigran Sargsyan, Vice Chairman of the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Management Board, met with Zhaslan Madiyev, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, on the sidelines of the Digital Almaty 2025 Forum.

The Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Fund for Digital Initiatives has provided a grant to finance the international GovStack project in CIS countries. The agreement was signed between the EDB and National Information Technologies JSC (NIT) at the Digital Almaty 2025 Forum.

At the international Digital Almaty 2025 Forum, which runs from 31 January to 1 February in Almaty, Tigran Sargsyan, Vice Chairman of the Management Board at the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), presented the breakthrough digital projects of the EDB Fund for Digital Initiatives to EAEU Prime Ministers and high-ranking officials from other countries who visited the EDB’s booth at the event.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has become a member of the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), as part of the Bank’s steps towards promoting financial inclusion, diversification of the financial market and supporting the development of Islamic finance products across its member states and Central Asia as a whole.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), represented by Ruslan Dalenov, Vice Chairman of the Management Board, and Bank CenterCredit (BCC), represented by Nurlan Shegebayev, Vice President for Corporate Business and Member of the Management Board, have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at fostering commercial partnerships for joint financing of investment projects in Kazakhstan, as well as supporting export credit operations for local organisations.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), have jointly organized a groundbreaking workshop on Digital Postal Islamic Financial Services and the establishment of the Sukuk Finance Corporation (SFC) on December 5, 2024, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
