A delegation of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), headed by Conrad Albrecht, Managing Director and Head of the Sustainable Development Directorate, attended the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Eurasian Development Bank has published its Macroeconomic Outlook for six member states. The Bank’s analysts expect GDP growth rates in the region to gradually recover to their equilibrium levels. GDP growth in 2025 is projected to be 5.5% in Armenia, 2.6% in Belarus, 5.5% in Kazakhstan, 8.7% in Kyrgyzstan, 2.4% in Russia, and 8.4% in Tajikistan.
