Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) published its financial statements prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the first six months of 2016. EDB had a record high net profit of US $40.7 million in the period, compared to previous similar periods, over the entire period of its operations
EDB provided an 18-month advance payment guarantee for a total of RUB 4.999 billion to Sakhalin GRES 2 at the request of Mosenergo. The project envisions the construction of one of four facilities under RusHydro's investment programme for the construction of new power facilities in the Far East in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia on the development of the region's power sector
