EDB reports that the Kostanai Town Court (Kazakhstan), after having considered the case for the second time, satisfied the Bank's claim against Ivolga Holding's owner Vasily Rozinov for a total of US $300,000. EDB has been trying to recover Ivolga Holding's debts from its owner and guarantor Vasily Rozinov over 2016. Vasily Rozinov did not comply with the court judgements to pay US $1.8 million to EDB and the Bank had to enforce them

Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Russian Highways signed a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed on 30 November 2016 in Moscow, at the 10th Transport of Russia International Exhibition, by Dmitry Pankin, Chairman of the Management Board at EDB, and Sergei Kelbakh, Chairman of the Board at Russian Highways. The memorandum is intended to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in order to solve pressing issues in the area of road construction

The event brought together heads and representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, ministries and authorities, national companies, international financial institutions, academia, businesses, and experts from the Bank’s member states and other countries.
