The EDB Fund for Digital Initiatives helps the Bank’s member countries to implement their digital projects and thereby accelerate their digital development.
Digital platform solutions are realised at three different levels:

Financing digital transformation projects initiated by national governments, including government e-services, creation of infrastructure, etc.
Promoting sustainable development goals
Fostering the development of technology companies and potential projects
Corporate (venture capital)
Investing in digital projects that help countries to achieve their sustainable development goals
The Fund’s digital initiatives are a catalyst for development.
The Fund actively works in cooperation with EDB member states, regional and international organisations, think tanks, businesses and other partners.
The Fund’s digital projects reflect the aspirations of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the need to promote technology companies and potential projects in Eurasia.
The EDB Directorate for Digital Initiatives maintains two project registers for information and analysis:
Ideas or concepts, including international initiatives.
Projects submitted or digital initiatives already in the public domain that have been identified by the Directorate.
Projects that are at pilot stage, being scaled up or ready to launch. Projects that can be scaled up across the EDB’s region of operation.
