Astana, April 14, 2025. The corresponding agreement was signed between the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the NGO "Information and Analytical Center for Water Resources" of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Second Meeting of the Coordination Council of Partners for the Development of the Water Sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan held in Astana on April 10, 2025.

The international Digital Almaty 2025 Forum hosted a panel session titled “Digitalization as a Success Factor in Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Agro-Industrial Sector of the EAEU.” The discussion was moderated by Dauren Rakhimzhanov, Managing Director of the Directorate of Digital Initiatives at the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).

The Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Fund for Digital Initiatives has provided a grant to finance the international GovStack project in CIS countries. The agreement was signed between the EDB and National Information Technologies JSC (NIT) at the Digital Almaty 2025 Forum.

At the international Digital Almaty 2025 Forum, which runs from 31 January to 1 February in Almaty, Tigran Sargsyan, Vice Chairman of the Management Board at the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), presented the breakthrough digital projects of the EDB Fund for Digital Initiatives to EAEU Prime Ministers and high-ranking officials from other countries who visited the EDB’s booth at the event.

As of 20 December 2024, the “Work in the EAEU” mobile app, developed by the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Fund for Digital Initiatives, has launched public and commercial services for migrant workers in Uzbekistan. This enables individuals seeking employment in Uzbekistan to access the necessary services directly from their smartphones.

In October 2024, the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Fund for Digital Initiatives allocated the first tranche for a project to establish a National Digital Investment Platform in Kazakhstan.
